    clunck

    when i pull up to a stop light i will come to a complete stop and sit and idle for maybe a couple seconds and my truck will make a loud clunck noise and jult forward. should i be worried about this and what is that?

    my cousins 07 nnbs does the same thing, i dont know what it is either.

    My friend had the same problem. It was the driveshaft. He lubed it up, and problem solved.

    absolutely use that warranty while you can.

    alot of guys were havin problems with the 07s and driveshafts. Spray wd on the tail shaft, i can't remember if there is a grease fitting or not on the housing. If it stops, wait til it starts again, and take it to dealer.


    Believe they said silicon spray would last 3-4 months.
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    the only reason im sketching about the dealer is i dont want them to give me crap about my intake. that shouldnt void anything but i dunno. i could always through the stock one back on

    an intake shouldnt matter at all. and mine kinda does the same thing, im pretty sure its when it downshifts, or at least thats what i always thought it was...

    I can say the dealer can suck it if they wanna get about the CAI. Then again, it's too easy to fix to bother taking it in. Do like others have suggested just please don't use WD40 . Take out 4 bolts, pull the DS, pack the slip yoke with grease, reinstall removed components in reverse order. Done for another 18 months. BTW, don't run over yourself. Chock the wheels.

    Crappy how this was a problem in the late 90's and early aughts and went away only to return.
