    si, in order to build a 408, is that all they have to do?? bore and replace the crankshaft? I thought they needed to cut some where the crankshatf sits or something like that..

    on the ls1 block u have to clearance it mine i was lucky and didnt have to but u can do it urself if u want i think i had like .120 clearence from block to crank texas speed said i was stupid and that all blocks have to be clearenced no matter what and i was like naw im good never had a problem
