so did you get what i was trying to say?

Apparently not.
talking about this part

headers---> exhaust cut-outs ---> x-pipe ---> mufflers

you think i should go with the pacesetters instead of the dynatechs?

could probably get everything done for the price of the the dynatechs[/b]
Okay, gotcha

The Pacesetters are way, way, way cheaper than the SuperMaxx header kit. Since the full SuperMaxx kit includes the cats i just wasn't sure about what you meant, since it looked like you're wanting to go w/o cats.

For what your looking to do I'd go w/ the Pacesetters. The SuperMaxx even w/o the cats are over $1000, so you probably could get the whole thing done for that amount of $$$

I think Texas Speed even carries an x-pipe w/ bullet mufflers or something like that. They do have an off-road y-pipe for the Pacesetters, but that don't help you much. You may have another source for the x-pipe and mufflers, so not sure about that.
