Talk to your CPA. Make the new truck "shop only" and write it off on taxes. I'd like to see a NBS kick a$$.
I'm pretty sure either truck would be "shop only" and a total write off. The problem is that for every $1.00 you spend you only save around $.33 cents in taxes.

On just about every level the less you can spend the better! Marketing and Goodwill is still somewhat of an anomaly to me. Would Allen's market prefer to see a NBS truck or the Farmtruck, and which one would drive more revenue to Nelson Performance?

    We may never know...
No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106

Keep the '94, old boxes never designed to run are far more exciting. Just like GMCwantsLS1.
Thank you! I love the look on peoples faces when this longbed old 80's truck just ran a 13.7. The last time I ran at the track I was up against a Camaro, everyone was holding their breath until they saw I beat him by a few tenths. I think Rooster has the video. I vote for the old 1994! You can build a newer truck if you want, but that is the truck that started it all. I often think of getting a newer truck, but I know I would miss the old one. JMO! As long as it is all in fun!
