    Couple of questions:

What headers/motor mounts are you using? How far is the engine set back? Rad / ac condenser spacing/location?

Did you box the bottom of the crossmember or is that a pic of the oil pan, can't tell in the picture you posted.

I seriously want to throw a 5.3 in my 98 and haven't had a chance to talk w/ someone that's done the GenIII LSx swap.

    Thanks!
    so did your 89 have a LT1 or LT4?

the s10/blazer series are FUN little trucks. I had a 95 with a 360ci SBC (400hp on motor) with a 100 shot on it, 700r4, 26" slicks with 3.73 rear gears it ran 12.09 @ 112. That trans DEFINITELY needed a stall and a bigger cam, but neither came and had to sell the truck to buy my house.

Now my dad has a 1998 2 door Jimmy we swapped an LQ4/4L60E into with a cam, 1.7 roller rockers, ported/polished/milled lingenfelter heads, 3400 fuddle stall, victor jr intake, edelbrock elbow, kept the fuel injection and still has A/C. That thing is a beast.
