    I've actually done that before...not that deep though. It was my brother-in-law's truck...I only put it in up to the front of the bed. It was a manual I wasn't familiar with and had problems finding first from reverse.

    he coulda drove it out...long as he kept the R's up


    Actually seen newer chevys deeper then that.
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    yeah... maybe if he had a snorkel. the entire hood is submerged. how is he supposed to get anything other than water through the intake?
