    Tuning choice

Hi, I am thinking about dumping the HyperTec I have on my truck and getting a custom tune. I have narrowed it down to either Nelson tune or BlackBear. Both seem good, the advantage to one is that it is local.

A local street tune would probably be best. It's more accurate and makes it easier for retunes.

Go with Nelson. Im not familiar with Black Bear but I went local when I first started modding. Nothing but problems and flushing money down the drain for the most part. I happily drive to SA from Houston now everytime I need a retune and that would be a shorter drive for you. Its worth it. In fact, Im heading there tomorrow morning

I would suggest Nelson but that would be a drive for you. I have no experience with Black Bear so I can't talk to that...I have been completely satisfied with NP.

from Georgetown to Nelsons door is only 1hour and 45 minutes...as long as it isn't peak traffic time, plus the toll road goes all the way to 35 in kyle, so its easy...
X10 on the Nelson tune...speaking of that, reminds me I need a retune too..

I thought he was referring to Nelson being the closest to him which is why I suggested the local tune.
