EFI vs. Carb engine will make same power given same intake air flow.
Carb is easier to keep intake path open so you make more power.
EFI will only help in idle, cold start, mpg and so forth.
EFI with all its intake elbows and MAF and throttle body are more
restrictive so they make a little less power.
Up to you whether having to sit there and pump the gas to get
it started on cold morning or it dieing on you every now then before
engine has warmed up and more power or you want set it and forget EFI.
