    We run them around 12.8-13. Timing is your main concern on nitrous. Look up the big boys runnin nitrous and see what they run then tell me I don't know what I'm talkin about. I was just tryin to help out but oh well. You guys know everything, I'm a dumbass. I forgot

    i wana keep it high 11, real low 12. this might not be optimum, but id rather be safe than sorry. and i know thats not too rich by any means. id even be alright with a little richer...

I know the NOS suggested jetting is larger on the fuel and that will be dead rich. Will it run? Sure. Will it hurt anything? Likely not at these low HP levels. Are you getting near what you should from the kit? Absolutely not. It has been preached for years that "rich is safe" and most guys tend to believe it, but that could not be farther from the truth. Excess fuel just beats the crap out of the rings. 99% percent of nitrous related engines failures are from too much fuel, too much timing, or both. It is EXTREMELY rare to burn a motor by getting the nitrous system too lean. Barring a mechanical malfunction or an extremely bonehead tune up change, that is nearly impossible to do.As far as A/F numbers, for some reason, people seem to think nitrous motors need to run way richer than they do in N/A form...again, not true. As an example, if your motor makes best power N/A at around a 13:1 A/F ratio, a moderate nitrous tune (less than 250 hp) will be fine at that same 13:1 A/F ratio, provided you get the timing correct. Although I would not suggest you go straight to these numbers, I run the 632 in the drag radial car, at about 13:5.1 A/F ratio, with about 600hp worth of spray. The Pro-Mod car also runs over 13:1.1 with over 900hp worth of juice. Anything in the 9,10, or 11 range, on spray, is DEAD RICH."Heres more off his site Smothers Tuned SuperCars - Nitrous Class

    i ( when ready ) will do the 12.5-12.9 on the juice its all gonna depend on the logs and timing!!!! just gotta NO when to get out of it !!!

    timing does play a big part soooo keep an eye on it lol

    I posted what danny posted on ptnet and guy over there tried that and picked up 3/10s and 3 mph. its all in the timing, have it tuned right and no detenation and your good to go..monte smith knows what hes doin or he wouldnt be were he is now. search him on yellowbullet.com

    i also dont have the right gauges to be pushing my system to its limits...
    say i had everything i really should have then id be more comfortable leaning it out a little, but since i have no idea what my motor is doing other than A/F ratio, ill play it safe for now. i dont want to lean it out too much, pick up alot of knock and not realize it until its too late...

    I have built a few A6's and tuned probably 100 on HP. 25 of those trannies are holding over 550rwhp with STOCK parts. I told you to let me tune the tranny...... I know that tranny in and out. 3 to 5 10ths with a REAL tranny tune. The A6 is stout with the right programming.

    LOL you said that not me. I will be the first to admit. I do not run nitrous. However, I say it again, Mitch is pushing his truck too hard. I could personally care less whether you know what you are talking about or not. I know a tiny bit about turbos and don't claim much else. Mitch is pushing his truck too hard. I was not trying to get an arguement started. I have learned not to listen to everything posted on a forum. Lots of people have no idea what they are talking about. I am sure you have noticed. I double check everything that I see on the net.

    well, according to what i can come up with im making over 700 lb/ft of torque when i leave the line with the 150 shot, why does that make you say im pushing my stock truck too hard?!?!?

    i know im pushing it.... but its too addicting to just settle with going slow!
