    Why not just put it in 4WD then disconnect the actuator and the encoder then?

    I could not determine that. I had to do a gear swap in the rear end right before my conversion so I could not test this idea. The binding could come from the transfer case.

    Ummm....well.....sound? No. Would it bind in turns? Yes....but you'd feel it, not really hear it.

    but in other words itll just be better if i swapped the tubes?
