what can a stock trans handle

It's really luck of the draw if you ask me. I've seen some tranny's take an absolute ass kicking from younger people with minor mods for 100K+ miles, and I've also seen them go in new stock trucks with less than 20K miles on them that were babied by 70 year olds.

Yeah like everyone said its luck of the draw. But it sure does help if you dont drive too crazy lol, I would just go with the transgoHD2 shiftkit, some vette servos, and then cross your fingers. Good luck bud
