I finally pulled most of the stuff off the engine after driving the ol truck for one last time. man, how i forgot how 10psi feels!
I was just going to install the 80e with a shift kit and call it good, but I really hate this blow by, it makes a mess and robs power.
So, I'm pulling the rest of the engine tomorrow and I'll take it down to Nickens Racing for some freshing up this week. The engine is getting some good pistons and rings, I'm still deciding on the Lunati stroker kit they have down there. I'll probably pass on it.
The cam will finally go in, for those who wanted to know, it's a 230/228-.591/.580-114. Comp says it will work just fine, but it's a little on the aggressive side.
The trans will finally make it in as well with the 2800 VIG, I may get it restalled a bit, 3200 sounds just right.
I think the t76 is going to be just right too, the smaller gt67 always spooled way tooo quick which resulted in no traction, so I'm not going to mind a little bit of lag.

see ya,

allen

Track sounds fun! I'd like to get some baseline #'s on the 6.0 W/O the whipple, but it sounds like Allen is down for a while.
