    Porting/Polishing 862's vs. Different heads?

I'd like to upgrade to the LS7 lifters soon because mine are getting miles on them (150K) and I had planned to do this while my heads are off. I was going to get my stock 862's ported/polished/3 angled, but then started reading around and now I don't know what to do as far as heads go. I am not looking to spend tons of money on aftermarket heads though. My cam is 219/228 .525/.525 112 if that helps. Thanks!

    More lift could help too.

haha I know I know, I planned to get some 1.8 rockers to help with that, it'd take it up to .555/.555 which is more than the blue LS6 springs can take right?
