I went to the track tonite, stock tuning my best time was 15.9 with the tailgate up, I bought a hpp3 till I save up the money for a Nelson tune, and wanted some numbers to start with. My first run was 15.937 then 15.900. I then put the hpp3 tune in and dropped the tailgate and ran a 16.003, then 16.016. What gives, tailgate down and "power tuning" Does it just take a while for the pcm to learn the tune or is stock better than hpp3? I know the Hypertech isn't great, but figured I would gain something? Thanks for the help.

I'm saving for a Nelson tune, and got a good deal on the hypercrap, so I went ahead and used it. Plan to get a Nelson tune with my cam.

Don't use the power tune portion, just raise the shift points... seriously, I saw someone LOSE power once on a dyno with the HPP3 tune. lol
