Mine and my wife's new house

Well I just got back from my honeymoon last Thursday night! We were blessed by getting the chance to go to Myrtle Beach, SC for the first time ever, thanks for her boss and his wife for buying our airline tickets as a wedding gift.

I wanted to share with you guys our new home. It's perfect for us, it's somewhat small (998 sq ft), but is very comfortable. Those of you who are coming to my get together in July will be able to see it! My dad helped me out in a huge way by repainting the walls and helped me strip and refinish the hardwood floors before the wedding. It took us about a week to clean it up to make it presentable because the previous residents absolutely trashed the place.

Anyways, here it is. We love it! The only thing I would like to add in the future is a garage and concrete driveway.

*Don't mind the clutter of boxes, bags, and folding chairs. We had our families over last night to open up the rest of our gifts, and we still haven't gotten time to put things away*

The Camaro office (We're getting a poster photo made of her IROC-Z to hang next to mine, and again, don't mind all the bags and stuff we haven't had a chance to put away yet lol):

    The bathroom:

    The spare bedroom:

    Our bedroom:

The living room and dining room (just got my new tv stand and wall mount set up yesterday! :chicky: ):

    The kitchen:

And finally the outside ( We love how big the back yard is! And yes, that is my parents' house behind ours, the brown/brick one haha ):

And here's our miniature dachshund, Charlie. We've had him since November.

Sweet. I like some of the flooring a lot. I still have to redo some of mine since my busted toilet incident a few weeks ago.

I was thinking about getting one when I graduate in December and get a better paying job, but I think a 4 door would suite us better. We really want a G8.

The floors are a pain in the butt! But they did turn out pretty nice I think.

You look like you and your wife are set man. Really, congrats. The house looks like a good start to a great family.

Oh, and I bet you'll want to put a rug under that kitchen table. You'll scar those floors all up if you dont.

The table legs have soft rubber pads at the bottom of them. Plus, it's so dang heavy with those granite pieces on the top that there's no way it would ever slide causing it to scratch the floor. It's seriously the heaviest table I've ever seen in my life.
