    80e swap

    I read allens thread on the swap but I was wondering what I would do for my driveshaft and I didnt understand what the shft braket was that is needed.

    Driveshaft will need an 80e/TH400 size yoke put on it and maybe a conversion ujoint. You can have it modified to a stronger 1350 u-joint.

    Can I just use a driveshaft and yoke out of a ext cab truck with an 80e?

    THE 80E and 60E are about an inch different in length, or at least they were when i measured.

    Well idk if its gonna happen now because the 80e I was getting for cheap has come up missing. And what sucks is I got the new flywheel, spacer, bolts, and dipstick today.

    yeah and there was only one other person that knew where it was and he is playing the blame game.
