I figure this way, if your gears, engine tranny, etc.... are set up right, you shouldn't need a break in. The equipment I build is built in thousandths just like a motor and when I start them they go balls to the wall right off the bat and run anywhere from 300 to 12,000 RPM for years at a time. Yes, there is some equipment that needs to be broke in but not gears or an engine. When you build an engine at the track you don't break it in. JMHO
