Is it possible to use a LS1 or LS6 intake on the truck 6.0 block? Also could one use the LS1 or LS6 cam?

yes to both, but if you change use a car intake manifold, you need to change to the car accessories. and vice versa (use a truck intake manifold on the ls1/6, you need truck accessories also)

Thanks, the truck block is looking more and more appealing. Really anything is more appealing than the L03. LOL

ya you sure can, someone on ls1tech.com did the same thing, well the holley intake and kept the truck accessories, he had to grind some stuff and mod a bracket, but he made it work, he said it was a big task, either way you go, the intake will fit the block.

Thanks, There seems to be alot of potential for the 6.0 block. I just hope everyone doesn't realize it before I get mine. lol I imagine a used truck block would be alot cheaper than a used camaro LS1.

As I understand, going from a truck intake to a car intake (in the truck) will come with some fuel issues to. I haven't investigated it, but it's something with the fuel rails.
I also would have made this assumption, but from what i have seen, this is NOT the case.Originally posted by dennis6@Jul 14 2003, 02:23 AM
