    Thermostat Help!!

I am loking 2 replace my water pump. Any thoughts on some good pumps. Also can I use a 160 degree thermostat without changing the tuning. Would I benefit from a severe duty clutch! I am new to Post any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Get more stats on your truck up.
Just get a stock replacement water pump and I would not use a 160* tstat unless fans were the same. Clutch depends on what tranny/ year/ make/ model/ and what engine its behind with what type of power adder.

There are only 2-3 fan clutches for all the apps between a 4.3 V6 and an 8100 or diesel 3500. The GM pump at the dealer is $300 retail so you might wanna go aftermarket. Be advised the parts store pumps don't have a tstat, seal, or housing (may be OK for you) like the GM pump does. GFZ is most common amoung all the clutches and most common to fail 03-04. Jeff is correct, we have no idea what you are working on.

Then again I made a long post about your issues earlier today and I do not see it.
