Fastest LS truck in my town (for now)

Kenton is my friend in all. But his truck is fast. He doesn't hook up well at all. His truck spins until it hits 3rd gear and it still tweet the tires. On the way to Bastrop one night there was a Shelby GT500 in front of us and we went to pass and the Mustang rev up so Kenton drop it to 2nd doing bout 60 floors it and spin but we left the GT500 atleast by 2 1/2 lengths. But if he gets traction bars his truck would smoke people worser than it does now.

Where you using your nitrous or just racing on motor?

Mine probably weigh around 45 pounds or a bit more a peice. I know the rims themselves are 38 pounds without tires, air ,etc

just fyi a 265/35/22 tire weighs about 35lbs and a 305/40/22 tires weighs about 45lbs.So with your wheels and tires you looking at weighing atleast 75lbs each.

They dont feel like 75 lbs each! Maybe im hercules! Im just messin. I honestly havent weighed them. When I get a chance I will just to know. Cause now Im interested.

This happend WAY before I got the n2o kit. I just had my tranny built at this time. The OP was 5 months ago haha.

Ill make my first truck about a certain black truck in our town....Ian will know immediately which it is. The truck that is referred to that spins thru 1st and 2nd use to be on the JUICE. Before the kid in town got the truck I raced it and saw it make many passes. Fastest I SAW it run was 13.2. Others saw it run HIGH 12's and when the guy sold it he advertised 12.5's. When the kid in town got it he would get outrun by another kid that ran 13.37-13.45 at the track. Both kids were on DR's so traction was no issue. The lengths the truck would loose by would be making it run HIGH 13 to possible 14 "flattish". With the JUICE the guy told us his was on at the track this would be about right for this truck off the juice. I remember when I got my Reg Silv with a 5.3.........thought it was a damn rocket.... Till I got the SS then I realized it was not that fast. Keep in mind this truck has not been to the track since the kid got it so people are calling it fast b/c they have not been any a modded vehicle or it is racing nothing cars. Ian is right....we live in a hole in the wall so not many people work on racing trucks. Hope this was long enough. Around here people talk UP other peoples rides alot b/c they dont have crap to race or just dont know better.
