I'm so ruined now, everytime i drive my truck i'm just waiting for that shaft to explode. I rarely get on it any more cuase of this.
I know i'm not putting more than 400ft/lbs down, plus most f-body's are making more than i am, so i'm sure the shaft is strong enuff, something else is going on.
I've heard about the harmonics and frequency of a shaft, and the critical speed thing. My vibration was there around 80mph but cleared out at 100mph. kind of wierd.
Denny'sDriveshaft told me with the steep gears i have, that would cause some problems if i don't go with a big diamter shaft or a strong enuf one.
I just called drive shafts unlimited and they are going to replace it, i'll keep using theirs until i can buy the $500 dollar one from denny's., plus it takes like 6weeks to get it in. I'll just go very slow and drive the motorcylce as much as i can. I'll probably end up going with their 4" diameter, they said that wolud help.

I guess it's time to install a shaft loop this time, hehahaha. it scars the sh!t out of me when it breaks, i don't know what kind of damage it did, i'll look tonight.

Anymore thoughts on the shaft thing? I really want to find out what's going on.
