F-body accessories wouldn't work on my s10 swap. I had to go with C5 Corvette stuff. The Hummer H3 oilpan works the best, you shouldn't have to notch the crossmember. You can retain the stock column shifter or put floor shifter and console out of an S series blazer in it. Current Performance make plug and play wiring harnesse for S10s.
