I gave a little bit of gas and nothing.. truck is barely walking.. I parked and shut it off.. wait for a couple of seconds and started up again and drive back home acting normal but the check engine light still on.. what do you guys think that went wrong?

Check all the wires at the throttle body connector for broken inside the insulation. Common problem. You'll have to cut the tape off the wires and peel back the black plastic conduit. Pull test each wire from the connector to about four inches back. Look for one of the wires to stretch and the color of the insulation to turn wihite. This is where the copper inside is broken. Also check each wire at the terminal for poor crimp or broken right at the crimp. Also check the black with white stripe PCM ground wire from the large wiring harness at the back passenger side of the intake manifold down to where it bolts to the block between the intake and the wirewall. Pull on it pretty good to make sure it's not broken. This is the most commonly rodent chewed wire on these trucks. In rare cases the bolt holding it down is loose. If you still don't find anything, have the battery load tested. When the battery is a little weak it can still start the truck but the TACM and the PCM "wake up" at different times and do not communicate causing REP.

I checked all those wires and they where fine.. and drove my truck to the mechanic, and he wasnt there.. by the time I started up my truck again in the shop, the check engine dissapear.. a guy in the shop told me it might be a piece of dirt or trash on the gasoline that might get in my fuel injection system.. truck is running good now.. Hopefully it was a piece of dirt or something like he said..

Reduced engine power is caused by something related to the electric throttle not from fuel problems.

the time my truck did that, I was pretty low on gas.. maybe I will need to replace my stock pump to feed my 42lbs injectors and the nos shot.. and to prevent my truck from doing that..

Sounds like it is time for a tank flush, a fuel filter, and a Walbro 255....
