Might have a motor for my truck!

Last week we got word that one of our CTS-V customers "blew" his engine in his car while in Ottawa, so they towed it to the closest Cadillac dealer which is not us. There's over 100,000km on it and it's an '05, so it's customer pay. Not sure exactly what is wrong with it. But anyways he called us and see if we could give him a better deal because he'd bring it to us and we could do it. Our labour rate is about $10 or $15/hour cheaper, plus the parts manager is going to give him a good deal on the engine itself. Find out tomorrow what the deal is. Gotta figure out what's wrong with it. Hopefully something that can be fixed, then I'll have an LS6 for the ole Chevy.

    Oh hell yeah!

One of the other guys at work has a brand new T-56 out of a CTS-V as well that he said he'd give me for $400, may just stick with the NVG-3500 for now with a good clutch so I don't have to change my gears in the rear end, can't see it lasting very long though.

With an LS6 motor, the little NV3500 won't handle it long. Go for a T-56 and an upgraded LS7 clutch...
