Some like the 2nd design Z06 cam for heavy trucks and others do not like the late closing exhaust valve for a near 6000 truck.

I've had mine on 2 different scales and it comes in at 6300lbs. I'll give it a shot and see how it works. I'll definately upgrade the pushrods. Are there any special tools required to perform this swap besides the usual?

The best way is to use compressed air through a hose threaded into the spark plug hole to hold the valves open. Then you can use a spring compressor that will do two springs at once. Someone has one for sale in the classifieds section. You'll also need a torque wrench and a really nice balancer puller/installer or a friend at a dealer.
