    It has to be programmed.

When you shift down into 1-2-3, your shifter will still move
the trans into the right gear but the cluster will always just read "M"
    when down out of "D"

    CORRECTION !!!!

OK, got to talk to Nick up at Fastlane and he gave me the real low down..... (great guy)

    1. This is NOT a direct plug-in swap cluster.
    2. You have chop into the cluster wire harness to make work.
    3. You have to modify the bezel around cluster to make look right, it does not fit.
    4. You can only order these cluster by Escalade VIN number.
    5. It took them 2+ weeks to make work, but they do know what to do now.
    6. Everything works, but the "Info" window will not display anything.

He said if you want one done, they can do it, but he said it would cost "a lot"
    Its a lot of work.

Give him a call if you have you heart set on it.

    Fastlane is in Houston.

Give him call, he's usually super busy so try and catch em
at the end of the day.

From what he was saying the expense involved for this just really
isnt worth it unless you just have your heart set on that look.

The gauge cluster alone from GM is like $500. Probably run into the thousands by
the time you spend 20+hrs of shop time getting it all working and looking right.
