    5.3 to 6.0. What gains are expected

    As I am getting closer to doing to Turbo and knowing my motor will soon be on its last leg. (104k with n2o and boost something will give fast) Ive been kicking around the idea of rushing a 6.0 swap before the turbo goes any further. Something with less miles. Thinking of a lq4 or 9. Dont really care which. I know the lq4 is better for boost but if I find a great deal on a 9 I wouldnt pass it up. SO here is my question. Right now my mods are
    228/226 cam
    Springs & pushrods of course
    TBSS manifold and 90mm TB
    UDP, LT, E-fans, CAI
    If I took everything off my 5.3 and put on a 6.0 what kind of power gains would I see? Is it enough to rush this swap or should I put it off?

    just boost the 5.3. motors dont know mileage

    I list it more like getting on the faster bandwagon there G. I just would like to know what would the hp gains be.

    the hp difference between the 5.3 and 6.0 would be minimal in boost. the TQ would be noticable. fact is the 5.3 will make more power boosted then youll ever know waht to do with

    I just did a LQ4 swap with 243 heads, so close to a LQ9, to the avalanche, the notice was nice!
    The torque is great and it's handling 10psi with no problem.
    Torque is what moves our trucks, so the torque is definitely worth it!
