squirting from 1200rpm is asking for trouble......

IMHO 2500rpm is the lowest you can start at

Go no lower then 2000 on the window switch

man that a nice little drop off the et's .6 with only a 50 shot....do you remember what the bottle pressure was at? when you were hitting the rev limiter was it on motor or on the bottle?

Low!!!!! Well, the pressure was fairly high, around 1000, but the bottle was pretty empty. It was my 6th run I think and I had played with it ion the street slot too..... So there wasn't much nitrous in there.
It was with spray. So after it did it. Shut the bottle off and did a NA run and it quit, so I went back to spraying and it never did it anymore... And it was almost like it wasn't getting on the limited but just taking a really long time to shift, idk. It was weird!!!

Check the plugs. Might have leaned it a little....then again, if the bottle was low maybe it was just rich if you have a wet system.

I checked the plugs afterwards, they looked just the same as they did after any of the other runs. I wouldn't say they looked lean, just real clean, no black buildup or anything like that

stock trans will always take another 200rpm or so to shift on bottle...and if you were running out of nitrous it would make you go fat not lean because of the extra fuel you are spraying. 1000psi is where you need to hit it at you are fine up to a 1200psi hit also just not much more then that cause sometimes the noids tend to lock up under higher pressures

It wasn't to 1200, maybe 1100 tops. And I'm sparying thru the shifts for now, so they never close I don't think. The only thing that's real weird to me is that it only did it those two runs

it's will do it sometimes and it will only ever do it on the bottle...that means that the shift points just need to drop 100 more rpm to allow for the nitrous that's all...no harm either way...you could also bump the rev limiter up another 100rpm's

i think Allen is gona make it so all my shift points are the same and make it so it definitely wont hit the limiter. im going to give him a call in a little bit and talk to him about all this.

and just curious, how come everyone is telling me to keep my window switch co hi when there is plenty of people spraying from a dead stop? is it just cause i have a stock motor or what? whats keeping me from spraying off the line when others are?
