I picked up my 243's off LS1Tech.com for $450 shipped
another $80 for fresh valve job and all new valve seals got
me basically a brand new set of 243's for under $550.
Shop around, they are all over the place for $500

i have one of those noisy lifters, its between 15 other noisy lifters. i'm just waiting to see pushrods flt through my hood at 4k rpm. should be fun, i guess i can hurry up and finish me .3. still lack some parts, pushrods especially, bought a custom grind cam, turns out the base circle is like .050'' small wtf?

06 silverado 6.0L VMAX LPP LT's, Volant CAI, Manaflow, NELSON TUNE.
Quirk on the Gen-III motors.
On higher lift cams the lobes can exceed the diameter of the cam bearings.
Be pretty hard to run a cam you couldn't slide into the engine.
The fix is to reduce base circle to pull lobe in.
