the 383 6.0 is a custom piece
a typical 383 uses a 5.7 to start off with. yes ppl use 5.3 blocks but first bore them to the specs of a 5.7. to achieve a 383 you need a 4" crank 6.125 rods
since you dont start off with a 350 and bore it to 355 youll only get i believe 382. a 355 with conversion is more 385
87 octane you say....so you wnat to skimp on things for a 5 dollar difference between fill ups?
408 with 600 tq isnt happening. THese are LS motors they dont make torque!!!!!!!! to get torque you need boost. Even some of the baddest 408s arent making 525rwtq
