Since I'm pulling off the heads I might aswell add ls7 lifters and get some thiner head gaskets to get me 11.0 compression. I also decided that nitrous breaks too much **** and I will be getting an all motor cam from Patrick G. Also decided to lose the 1.8 roller rockers so I can run a more aggressive lobe and get better gains.

I thought I was pretty safe and I only had one mishap in 3 years of spraying. This last accident was caused by my flexplate cracking, throwing the belt, and losing power to my fuel pumps causing it to go lean and melt 6 plugs.

my old truck cheater ran lean when i started using n2o and one of my heads messed up,one valve was pushed up you could see it by looking at the rockers,so one plug was as clean as new. a new fuel pump took care of the problem and a 1/2 tank of gas.

That's why I like stand alon fuel cells for spray as long as you tune your jets with a wide band and let off the button between shifts you should be ok

Its a gamble. If you spray long enough you will have a failure of some sort. Problem with nitrous is it hardly fails in a small way. Usually when you have a failure, stuff gets broken or gets boomed.

I pulled the head off today and found one of the valves had a small piece missing. It was one of the smaller valves which I think is the exhuast. I'm getting the head fixed tommorow and waiting for my cam recommendation. It's also getting really tempting to just put it back together and spray some more but I'm going to try and resist.

Do I have to pull the other head or can I just fix that one and go on. Reason I ask is cause it may need slight milling and I don't know if having a little higher compression on one side will hurt anything. I'm doing this job myself and pulling that drivers head was harder than I expected.
