Tru Cool with bypass or not?

I live in kansas and temps in the winter can get cold, I will drive the truck when it's under 30 degrees for sure. Should I get a 40k tru cool with the bypass or just stick with one that does not have the bypass? I will eventually have a cam, higher stall, headers ect...... Is a 40k cooler over doing it?

    Edit: 04 RCSB

nope, the rad. cooler will also serve as a warmer in the winter. You should be fine. no bypass needed IMO.

When it gets to -10 you can always just put a cover over it.
    2002 Tahoe 4.8 - soon to be turbo'd - SOLD
    1989 Mustang - LX Vert - 351W-TT - 2inches of dust covering it
    2012 Raptor - 497rwhp at 10psi

So a 40k without bypass won't be too big/cool and I should be good with that one? Will the tru cool mount in front of the radiator on an 04?

Plenty of room to mount in front of the radiator.
