Thread: nelson- predator

    im going to get the nelson tune and i was just wondering if after i got it if ill even need my predator tuner at all, or like for shift points or do they already do that for me i read about firm shifting and stuff but i figured you guys would know more than me on this situation
    1999 GMC Sierra black reg cab short bed SLE Z71 5.3 <--CARDOMAIN PICS
    NELSON 93 hot tune, 02 PCM, VOLANT Ram air intake, MSD wires, ACdelco iridium plugs , Edelbrock ceramic shorty headers, jegs off-road y pipe, Dynamax int pipe, 3" Magnaflow Exhaust with turndown, EGR removal, throttle body bypass, vette servo, long servo pin, performance 4th apply piston, B&M shift kit, SLP 160* thermostat, LS1 Fans, NELSON harness, ported and polished throttle body (did it myself, for free lol)..... _______? cam is next as soon as i stop spending all my money

    Your predator will be worthless after the Nelson tune, Allen&#39;s tunes provide more power and can change more settings than the Predator. Definately a worth while mod if you are thinking about it.

    I will Jump on that wagon. Just got back from SA at Nelson&#39;s Place.
    got the 93 tune had the 87 tune. Big difference firm solid shifts with the stock
    servo.
    01,Z71 Victory Red, sportside,5.3L, Flowmaster 40&#39;s, K&N Drop In, Airaid MIT Tube, TB bypass, Nelson Performance Hot Tune. Velocity Stack waste of money.

    Working to run with the BIG DOGS, tired of the porch. STS or LQ9 in the future.
