GM Hot Cam. Powerband is from idle to 6K and it'll have a nice lopey sound.

My knowledge on cams is pretty vague, but from what I understand, the more lope you have the less torque you get down in lower rpm's. I like the lopey sound, but in my non-race truck application, having the powerband in the lower rpms is better suited for my daily applications; especially with a stock stall. But I could be wrong here...
I have other plans down the road for a street truck.![]()

Yes, you are incorrect my friend. Lower LSA=more lope. Cams with a higher LSA make more HP @ the top-end than low-end torque. That's probably why the turbo guys go with a high LSA(Lobe seperation angle). But I would try to stay within the sweet spot between 110 LSA and 114LSA depending on your taste of idle.
I wish someone would tell me which one of these would be best for my setup, cause I cant decide...

Well i'm looking at a 224 cam from texas speed for my LQ4, I don't want to big since I tow and haul **** a lot but your goals may be different. It's a good middle of the road cam though.

Hot cam has little lift and a lot of duration on a short LSA IMO. Get more lift, less duration, and wider LSA.
