Need a lot more info to answer your A/C questions. Like...what vehicle, what type A/C dash control(request) do you have, what compressor, what does the rest of your system consist of, what are the labeled wires for the A/C, that Speartech provided, etc. As far as the constant 12 volt versus the keyed 12 volt question goes... No, they should not be simply connected together. They each need they're own separate source of 12 volt(keyed or not keyed)power for a reason. Fused, of course.
