So, I'm off to work today and the speed limit is 55mph.
I get behind this Dodge Dokata R/T and this guy is doin 40.
So naturally, the next passing zone I'm gonna pass this guy. But I didn't give it much throttle so I was doing like 55 around him. Well, I look over and it is some old man driving, but all of the sudden he stomps it. I'm like WTF? Well its a straight-a-way so I give it half throttle. So he hammers it all the way. I'm still like.......has this old man lost it? Well, I look up ahead and don't see anything so I stomp it, and it wasn't long and he was staring at my taillights. I could see the dismay in his eyes in my rearview as I kept pulling on him. I don't know how fast I was going but I could tell you the 100mph line was pegged.
But still, it pissed me off that he would do that sh** when all I was wanting to do is go to work at the posted speed limit.

    THE 4.8 STRIKES AGAIN!!

I'm telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Bring any ol' stock 5.9 around here, Hemi or no Hemi and I will hand it to them all day long. The engine in those R/Ts are just inferior to our LS motors.

OK, what does a bone stock 4.8 and a bone stock 5.3 run? i am thinking about getting one and am just curious. i know what i took my brother's R/T down the track to and am curious if all your guys talk is backed up by the walk Don't take this as serious as i am getting a GM truck, either used or new with my supplier discount in the next few months. may check on getting this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...4541271939&rd=1 though the stupid chrome would have to go.
