    update on my trans

    ok so i found a tranny shop here in orlando says he does some work for guys who race out at the track i go to... come to find out i have 4l65e trans.. hes going to rebuild it with all high performance parts hdtransgo stage 2 corvette servos the whole works with a converter 3000rpm stall for 2200$ out the door.. did i get a good deal or no?
    2007 silverado new body 5.3 procharged 9lbs of boost. comp cam custom grind... 463 rwhp and 401 torque

    I would save the money and do an 80e swap. The 65e will break eventually no matter how "built" it is.

    Yup. Your weight is what is working against you. Too hard on the trans to get something that heavy to move quickly.
