Lets hear your favorite band, group, album, etc..

Figured I would start a thread and see what else is out there I havent heard.

I typically listen to classic rock(boston, kansas, journey, foreigner, etc...) but lately I have been listening to Dream Theaters album "Scenes From a Memory" This is one of their slower very well flowing albums.

And for the people that like progressive rock music and hard hits look up the song "Pull me Under" by Dream Theater. Song sounds Awesome with a good system!

It depends on what side of Dream Theater you want to hear. They have a heavy, dark side. A soft, light side. and a epic side with like 30min long songs.

The album "scenes from a memory" is actually one continous song for like 1hr 20min. Listening to it in order is the way to do it. It is one of the best, well flowing, always changing albums I have ever heard. The four songs I am about to reccomend are from that album...

If you want some other songs to hear try "home" and "The Dance of Eternity"(best display of talent). That is some of the darker songs
YouTube - Dream Theater - The Dance Of Eternity

Listen to "through her eyes" and "the spirit carries on". This is the softer side.
YouTube - DreamTheater / Through Her Eyes (Metropolis 2000 Live)

Youtube really only has live videos of this band, which sound good, but like most bands the studio album sounds better.

    Anothe good one.
