As of two weeks ago i was a mechanic for H&P Drilling awesome work and 100+ hours a week so pay check was awesome, now ive been demoted and nothing more than a glorified rough neck working on sta ked rigs(they have no contracts so not running) thinking about going back to school though.

i work on natural gas compressors for the oil/natural gas field. we use 350s 454s, 5.9cummins, 8.3cummins, and CATs to run our compressors which i have to work on also.
