    Wheel hop UHH!

    I was working on the truck and realized my shocks died and probably been like that for a while so if i got new shocks would they help my horrible wheel hop? I had my dad order me some edelbrok gas adjustable shocks

    Probably if the others were really dead.

    Hop is a sign of other troubles though (pinion angle & axle wrap).
    Gone, but not forgotten!

    shocks will help.
    59 chevy apache>old school rod with 5.3.
    92 chevy swb>full frame, bagged, 98 interior swap.
    02 chevy swb>LT interior swap.
    01 tahoe> lowered on big wheels, family ride.
    97 ford diesel>big turbo,injectors,oil pump,etc.
    85 stang coupe> black on black, H/C/I.

    did you set your pinon angel it could be off bad do you have any springs took out and you may wont to think about some traction bars what kinda tiers are you runnin

    i havent touched my pinion angle but still have the shims and i got kuhmo tires 255/55/18

    i would say by by to the kuhmos and get some fusions or nittos thats just me tho i had kuhjos and i couldin get traction after 2000 rpm ha ha but you need to play with you pinion angle it will create wheel hop and vibration at high speeds and when your pinon yoke gets warn all your trany fluid will leak and you will burn up tranys left and right i learned the hard way get your pinon angel aligned right

    ok thanks for the advise is there a certain angle its suppose to be at or just get it straight by eyeballing it

    just get it as straight as possible didin you say you have the shim kit
