    Question Marriage?????

    OK GUYS AND GALS, I HAVE A QUESTION. WHAT EXACTLY IS A COMMON LAW MARRIAGE? IM A LITTLE CONFUSED ON IT. I MYSELF DONT BELEIVE IN MARRIAGE, IM SUPERSTITOUS. SOME SAY WHEN YOU GET MARRIED THAT YOU END UP DIVORCED IN YEAR. WELL ME AND MY HONEY HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 5 YEARS NOW, AND WERE FINE JUST THE WAY WE ARE. BUT WHERE DOES THE COMMON LAW MARRIAGE THING COME IN?????

    umm, I think its considered "common law" when you have lived together for 12-18 months , something like that.

    there is more to it but living/sharing $$$'s together 5 years now, yup sounds like you are kinda married.

    Whens the honeymoon???? =)

    Do you share bills or a bank account with him? and/or been living or renting together for 12 months or more? Technically married then.
