I'll let you guys know how the transmission temperature goes. You can read the earlier post to see how it compares to the Perma-Cool cooler.

I bought the B&M race super cooler trans cooler.

Cool, I'm going to buy one. Summit sells the 70264 for $49 and free ATF fluid.
You said in the other thread about that one being only 24000, and the one you got is 28000.
Is that how much fluid is passed through the system? What is that?
Is 24000 enough? It's a daily driver with minimal mods.
    How long does install take?
    Thanks

GVW stands for Gross Vehicle Weight (total weight of vehicle including trailers or towed vehicles). I hope that helps, that's off of the B&M website, so i guess you match your vehicle weight with the rating on the cooler. I guess.
Just keep in mind, if you can lower your trans temp 20deg, some say you double the life of your trans. For me, everytime i don't go to the track, i extend the life of my trans one more week, lol.

i'm sure 24,000 will be just fine. It's easy to install, and should take you a couple of hours, when ppl ask how to put it in, i say in series with the stock radiator cooler, but if you get that B&M cooler, you can just plug off the radiator and use the cooler, i guess whatever is easier.

    good luck,

Oh, I guess I should've looked on their website
Well, since I never tow nor do I plan on towing (no jetskis, dirtbike, etc. to tow )
    24000 is fine for me.
Hmm, so you recommend hooking it up in a series with the radiator? Is that just better or does B&M recommend that?

some of the shittier coolers will recommend that but the B&M cools it just fine by itself, either way will be ok, i'd say go with the easiest way to hook it up, i guess if the trans oil is hotter than the radiator it will cool it down that much more before it hits the external trans cooler.
