    stall? truck feels slower?

is it me or dose a stall just make your truck seem slower? It takes off alot quicker no doubt but seems like the pull stops but on the other hand it seems like the speedo is moving quiet fast.. I just dont get it lol

Also after the stall was put in, My truck idles funny, serges while in gear.

Well atleast I'm not the only one (unforntally) thats having small problems. Dose your truck feel like it should be pulling harder? I'm going to the strip tomarrow so the time should tell the tale! even know my tune is all jacked up with now

no I wouldnt say its pulling slower, it pulls fine. its just been doing weird stuff like... surges, at wot it feels like it almost slips just before the next gear and now it wont lock up when im at highway cruising speeds. If im in top gear around 70mph it stalling way up like 3500 almost like its in 3rd gear. and when i let off it goes back down to 2000 and as soon as i hit the throttle again it revs back up to 3500. but when I manually shift it to 3rd the rpms rise to about 3700 or so and I can feel it shift into 3rd and then when i let off i can feel the motor slowing the truck down. so I know its shifting to 4th but its almost like it dosent lock up. hopefully it in the tune cause i dont wanna drop the tranny again... well see

Um... When you say feels slower are you actually stalling it up and giving it all its got?
Or do you mean just cruising? It is going to be slower if you arent getting above the stall speed.
When I got mine done it was a night and day difference. There was no doubt it was much faster the first time I sank my foot off in it.

You gotta get a tune for your new stall. A good tuner will be able to make your new conveter lock up like it it should. It's not a tranny problem at all. Your truck probably won't pull as hard on the big end as it used to because your new converter is a little less efficient on top end than your stock converter was. I lost 21 hp on the dyno locked vs unlocked. But what you gain on the bottom end is well worth a little loss on top.
