    tundra down

So i work with this guy who is always talking smack about how fast his Tundra is and everyone keeps telling me to run him, but i knew the trucks were somewhat quick and i was pretty much slicks on the back tires. well i decided to run him just to see how it went. first race i told him i would call it, on the second honk he took off so we went again and i got another guy we work with to call it. well this douche decides he is gonna put it in first gear and leave it there so he is doing like 30 and the damn truck is bouncing off the rev limiter. well we finally get a good run in at a red light. light turns green he got me out the hole all i did was spin but once i hooked i flew past him like it was nothing the best part is this 95ish gt stang is coming up real fast so i slow down thinking he is gonna get on side of me well i realized he wasnt slowing down and he flew past me it was a bright yellow mustang with princess in pink on the back window. well when we get to the next light he is revving it up and all and when the light turns green he stomps it and runs into the car in front of him. all i could do was laugh, what a douche

but nice kill. ill admit ive had bad run ins with the new thundra in my stock SS. 2 have jumped me on a 45 to 55 roll and i start to reel them in and at 90 this thing feels like it stops pulling.. man i cant wait for a tune.

and the other one was in south florida last weekend. im at a light talking to friends and it turns green he hits it out of no where so i roll out with 5 people in the truck and i pass him before i even hit second then he puts a half truck on me when i shift into second then i come back in front of him. once i hit thrid it was over he put over a truck on me. 4 door 2 wheel drive with exhaust of some sort.

Those Tundras can be pretty quick. They're the fastest non super truck out. My buddy has gone a best of 14.29 with nothing but mufflers and a best of 14.20 with CAI and the back cats cut off (they have 4 total) but that was rolling on pulling a 2.30 60' because it would spin all the way into 2nd no problem at WOT. The truck has a 13 in it now if it will hook and pull a 2.0 60' like I've seen it do. This is a double cab too so he's about the same weight as my SS. I'll have him beat once I get my stall and headers on though...

Nice kill. Not meaning to hijack your thread but heres another mustang mishap. Me and my buddy went over to the street fights at Thunder Valley (Bristol) and hes running his 97 GT (5-spd) and he gose through the wet box and heats up the tires and has to back up a lil to get back to the line and well he forgets to but the car back in first and the light turns green and he nails it and he gose wheel hopping in reverse. Bout fell out of the stand laughing so hard, and to make it even funnier he was running against our other friends 01 excsb sierra and lost to him.

lol man as funny as that sounds i've done that once before. pretty embarassing. well we had pinks all out down here at no problem raceway last weekend and the guy with the tundra was there with a friend of his. i was there with my dad and he was like did he tell you i beat his truck with my tundra. all i could do was laugh and was like well did you u tell your boy you left it in first and he got all pissed off and walked off. his friend was like did he really and my friend was like yeah and he actually lost by the way. his friend was like yeah he talks a lot of smack. i thought it was funny and if yall get a chance go to ls1gto in the forums there is a picture of a gto that was at pinks it had ls3 head and nitrous. well to make a long story short he blew the intake man. completely off along with the hood bumper and pushed the firewall about three in. back from a nitrous blow up. pretty sickening it was a hella nice car
