    6.0 runing off of stock 4.8 computer

    well running a 6.0 off of a stock 4.8 computer hurt anything until able to get a tune?
    02 chevy 1500 ecsb. 02 lq4 6.0, nelson tuned.(sold but still in the family)

    Id get one asap, its not recommended to run it that way and it will run really sluggish

    No it wont mess anything up. GMCwantsLS1 used his 4.8 tune on an LS1 for a long time

    We did it in my buddies truck about 3 months ago. For some reason the tuned PCM for the 6.0l swap would work, so we put the 4.8l pcm back in and it ran fine. Just dont get on it real hard. It did keep trowing MAF out of circuit codes until we got it tuned.
