I'm not sure I'm a fan of putting the thinner 3-4 clutches in to get more plates to fit...they seem to get hot once and die where as the GM thick 3-4's die over a period of time. These modded 3-4's are the reason he states you'll need to buy a new reverse input drum. I also didn't see any mention of the input housing being stronger or if the planetaries were beefed up...
