no, we didnt put anything on the sensors when they were installed. it is possible about the not enough heat thing, so should i wrap them a little to try to keep some heat in, or no?? and the only thing that seems really strange to me is that when Allen had his computer hooked up on Monday, everything was reading perfect, so i dont know why it just goes back and forth from working fine to not...

he guys at the parts stores where im getting these codes scanned at usually seem to think its something with the MAF, is this possible?

and for going through that chart that you put up Greg, i dont have any sort of scan tool or anything so i cant do that for now. but if i ave to eventually i cango get someone to hook up something and hopefully pinpoint the problem

Keep in mind the chart was for a 2002 F-car. The codes are for the same type of problem but not all the operating parameters are the same.

I've seen this in the past. Someone installs a set of longtubes and the pcm sets these codes, can't figure it out either.
I would try wrapping the header a bit and see if that helps.

if a couple more people say to wrap them ill try that, cause ive also had some people tell me not to wrap them...

In salt road areas with painted headers it might be a bad idea.

what about north georgia with non-coated stainless headers?

i cant imagine there would be many issues, but x\some people have told me stay away from wrapping them

Stainless shouldn't be harmed. Let's see what everyone else says. I thought Kurt had this problem with his Kook's headers too....

ill get what i can on there sometime this week or weekend, but i wont be able to wrap the whole things. hopefully this will get rid of this stupid crap!!!
