Okay thought my alternator was going out. battery was weak but start after a few turn overs. would run fine the rest of the day then it would happen a few days later so i replaced the battery ran like a champ! No a day later it turnedover once and just one click everytime you turn the ignition. Is it the starter?

get your alternator tested to see if it is putting out the right voltage.

Check grounds, weak/bad grounds will give you lack of charge and drain battery quickly during cranking

Ignition switch or starter. Beat on the starter with a hammer while someone turns the key or test for voltage at the purple wire on the starter while cranking. Have the starter draw checked too.
