    True Duals

Is it possible for me to run true dual exhaust? cause i went to midas and the guy told me that i can't run true duals on my truck. he said they've tried it before on others. i couldn't really get what he was saying about why i cant. but i have an '02 Silverado 1500 Extended cab short bed w/ a 5.3. i currently have shorty headers and a 3" dynomax kit for my exhaust.

Go find another shop and get it done then take it back and show it to that idiot and kick him in the nuts. Had them on my 06 with no problems.

You can, it can be done....it may be the illegality the guy was worried about. Unless you know someone, most chain stores won't do stuff like that 'cause they're scared. I know it seems OK by the law to do anything past the converters but some shops view the entire stock y-pipe as something to leave alone.
