    Trans Identification

    I thought I picked up a 4l80e, may not be the case.. It doesnt have it stamped on the side in cast, on the sticker up top says 4CHD, not OCHD.. How do I determine which trans I bought?

    I found that it is a 4l60e but for an 04, not 00.. Thats why the difference in those numbers.. Now I just need to work on which torgue converter I have is better.. One say 2422 on a sticker and the other says 2420..

    An 80 is quite different looking than a 60/65/70. Compare what you bought to another.
